Forty Minutes A Day, Instead Of Music
Our founder never took a lesson. He learned in the car, listening to stories.
Twenty minutes on the drive to work, twenty on the drive home. Radio off, stories in the new language on instead. He listened, and repeated back out loud, to himself, what he had just heard.
That was the whole method. No teacher, no lessons, no exchange partner, and in three months not one conversation with a native speaker.
Then he flew to a country where nobody spoke his language, so he had no choice but to use theirs. What came out was basic — and it came out without effort. The people he spoke to were surprised: three months, and not a single lesson behind it.
